In my quiet time yesterday, I came across this verse from Isaiah: “For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

-Isaiah 41:9-10

I think there are times where we are all tempted to quit or back off. Maybe we feel abandoned. Maybe we feel like we are the only ones in the fight. Those feelings are natural. We all have them. It’s ok!

However, note what it says in the first part of that scripture: “For I have chosen you.” CHOSEN YOU. You have been picked by God! He has looked across the multitude, looked at you, and said “You. You are the one I am picking for this work.” God has brought us together as a family for the high calling of reaching this broken world with the good news that God loves them. What an honor and responsibility!

Know this: God is with us! He says it right there! He will provide everything we need and uphold us. He gives the victory, we just have to be obedient and say “Here am I, send me!”.

May we all rest assured in the victory that our unstoppable God provides as we build lives that honor God…all for Jesus!
