Every single week I get more excited about what God is doing here at Vaughn Forest Church! This past Sunday we had another incredible weekend. I am blown away every single time we gather together by how many of you are inviting your friends and family to come see and experience how Jesus is moving. A great example is the 12 baptisms that we had the chance to celebrate on Sunday! If you missed the service or baptisms, head over to our Facebook page by clicking here to check them out.
I know I keep saying it each week, but right now it is SO IMPORTANT that we make room for all of our guests on the weekend. Please continue to help us with these two things:
- Please park in the East Parking Lot (the one to the left of the property when you turn in from Vaughn Road) or in the back parking lot behind the church to help make more room for guests and new families that might have preschoolers. These folks are our guests and we want to be the best hosts we can be, and that starts in the parking lot.
- Please move where you sit in the worship service to the East side of the auditorium (the one opposite the baptistry). We are noticing the west-side is getting really full and we want to slide over to make more room for all of our guests.
So many of you have already helped us with this…thank you so much!
Another HUGE need we have right now is in our Kids Ministry! If you are willing to help us by serving with our Kids Ministry once every two months or so at10:30 AM please email our Kids Staff Beth or David and let them know. We appreciate you being willing to help take care of our kiddos!
Ladies, remember that next weekend is our Women’s Ministry Conference featuring Lysa TerKeurst (on September 9 and 10) here at VFC. Lysa is a nationally known speaker and author and I know you will enjoy hearing her speak. I am also excited that our very own VFC Worship Team will be leading us in worship through music.
