Hey Vaughn Forest Family!

I hope that you are having a great week and I really hope you had a chance to join us this past weekend for our Sunday service. We had some incredible music and I had the rare opportunity to show off some of my karate skills during the message…trust me, it made sense. If you haven’t stepped outside lately, I want to let you know that Summer is here in a big way! We have all kinds of exciting events and activities going on for you and your family this Summer here at VFC. Stop by our website’s events page or our Facebook page to stay in the loop on all of what is going on. In particular, make sure you come out to our Independence Day party next Monday, July 4th, starting around 7 PM on the front lawn of the church. We will have games, hot dogs, and a great fireworks show put on by Wynlakes Country Club.

Also, please mark your calendars for our Next Steps Class that will be taking place on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM on July 10, 17, 24, and 31. I am so excited to take our entire church through the Next Steps process and I know it will be a huge benefit for you and help many get plugged into where God wants them to be here in the Forest. We will not have any on-campus Life Groups meet on those Sundays. For those of you serving in Kids Ministry or other areas during the 9:00 AM hour, we will offer classes for you on the following Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM in the auditorium.

God is doing some incredible things at VFC and I am so excited to be a part of it all with you! As always, it is a joy to be your pastor. Keep living sent!
