Easter Weekend is less than two weeks away and I am so excited! I am praying and asking God for great things as we take time to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus. Please join me over the next two weeks as we pray for all the incredible things that will be taking place around our Easter Weekend here in the Forest.

In case you are unaware, we will be having the Vaughn Forest Resurrection Run 10K/5K/1 Mile Run beginning at 8:00 AM (10K) and 8:30 AM (5K) on Saturday, March 26th…the day before Easter. The 1 mile walk/run will start at 9:30 AM. The 5K will use part of the 10K route and will be suitable for walkers and runners. Award ceremony will be at 10 AM with plenty of door prizes. Following the Resurrection Run we will be having a HUGE family outreach event called Spring in the Forest. The entire community is invited to join us for our Spring in the Forest Party that begins at 10:30 AM immediately following the race. We will have inflatables, music, candy, and the biggest easter egg hunt in town for all the kids. This is a free event for everyone so be sure to invite your friends and family to join in on the fun with us.

God is going to use Easter Weekend for amazing things here in Montgomery and River Region, and I hope you will get in on all of it!
