DESCRIPTION:If you are a Military Family who is new to the Montgomery/Pike Road area\, or just new to Vaughn Forest Church\, then we invite you to join us for Military Connect! Military Connect is a short-term Life Group that starts on July 14 and goes through the end of August that is designed to help you get connected and at home here at VFC and the River Region. This group will meet at 9:30 AM each Sunday during that time and culminates with our Life Group sign up in the Fall. DESCRIPTION:Click here to register for Love Week 2024!\n\nVaughn Forest Church is looking forward to serving our local Montgomery and Pike Road Community through Love Week!\nStarting Tuesday\, July 30 and going through Tuesday\, August 6\, we will be serving our local community including schools\, individuals\, and others in need through yard work\, maintenance\, painting\, cleaning up\, and more. We have opportunities for all skill levels…expert\, novice\, and even opportunities for your whole family so we encourage you to get your kids involved. \nOpportunities include:\nTuesday\, July 30 – Pike Road Elementary\, 7:30 – 11:00am \n\nPut down straw (gloves\, rakes)\nReplace Ceiling tiles\n\nWednesday\, July 31\, Pike Road Intermediate\, 7:30 – 11:00am \n\nPut down straw (gloves\, rakes)\nPaint three rooms (supplies supplied\, unless you have a favorite)\n\nWednesday\, July 31\, Halcyon Elementary\, 7:30 – 11:00am \n\nPaint office\nPressure wash (pressure washers)\nHelp organize\n\nThursday\, August 1\, Pike Road High School 7:30 – 11:00am \n\nPut down straw (gloves\, rakes)\nTrim bushes & trees (hedger\, lopper\, trimmer)\nPaint entrance (provided)\nMove classrooms (furniture dolly)\n\nSaturday\, August 3\, Pike Road Elementary\, 7:30 – 11:00am \n\nMulch playground (tractors\, wheel barrows\, blowers\, rakes\, strong backs\, lots of water)\n\nWe will also be providing breakfast the following week to the school staff. \nWe hope you and your family can serve alongside us!
