In Acts Chapter One, Jesus gives His disciples a command to reach the world with His gospel. Speaking to them, Jesus says “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” With this command, and with the coming of the Holy Spirit, these men launched a movement that changed the world known as the Church. The direction that Jesus gave to the first 12 disciples to let their light shine still applies to us today, as well as the access to the Holy Spirit to provide everything we need to accomplish the task.
