I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day yesterday! We had so much fun celebrating dad here in the Forest with lots of bacon, cool cars, and a recliner give-away. I am so grateful to all of our teams who made the special day happen. I love it that we get to have fun together as a church family!

We also had a special celebration of baptism yesterday! Three people came forward to publicly commit their lives to Jesus…that is incredible! It was great seeing two of our dads baptize their children. If you missed the baptisms, head over to our Facebook page and check out the video of them.

Make sure that you are in the loop on our upcoming Next Steps Classes here at VFC! We are looking forward to taking the entire church family through our Next Steps on Sundays, July 10, 17, 24, and 31 at 9:00 AM in the auditorium. If you serve in Kids Ministry or other areas during that time, you can join us on Wednesday nights, July 13, 20, 27, and August 3 to go through the Next Steps Classes. I believe these classes are going to be huge for all of us and important as we continue to chase the vision and make disciples here at Vaughn Forest.

God continues to work and I am so excited to see all that He is doing! Stay unified and stay after Jesus. As always, it is a joy to be your pastor.
