Summer is in full swing and it has already been a great one here at Vaughn Forest Church! We are not even halfway through June and we have already had our students away at camp, tons of kids up here last week for Vacation Bible School, and this Sunday is Father’s Day with some really fun opportunities for all of us as we partner with the Montgomery Biscuits to make sure that Dad feels special.

In addition to all of that, we have Summer Life Groups and Spiritual Life Studies kicking off and loads of opportunities for you to get plugged in and connected to others. For more information on Life Groups and Spiritual Life Studies, click here!

Also, we have a great opportunity for you to get involved serving others with “Summer Serve”. Summer Serve is a short-term commitment lasting from now until right after Labor Day where you can test out and see some of the different areas where you can serve here at VFC. I said it before, I’ll say it again…Father’s Day is this Sunday! This year, we have something really fun planned for all of our Dads. We are partnering with the Montgomery Biscuits to give away a free ticket to a baseball game to every dad that joins us on Father’s Day! Make sure you invite all the dads in your life to join us on Sunday, June 18th. Big Mo is going to be here as well…so bring the kids and your camera and get a picture with him!
