I am so excited that this Sunday is Easter Sunday! Every year I look forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus on Easter. The entirety of our faith centers around this moment in history when our God chose the cross, died for our sins, and rose from the grave…victorious over death! What a reason to celebrate!

Speaking of celebrating, we have some incredible events designed to help you and your friend and family do just that this weekend. I hope you will be a part of them!

We will start things off with our Resurrection Run this Saturday, April 15th, at 8:00 AM which consists of a 5K and 1 Mile fun run. This will be a great opportunity to get out and exercise for a good cause. The course will go through Deer Creek neighborhood and has tons of prizes and extras to go along with it. Then, at 10:00 AM, we will begin our Spring in the Forest Party complete with inflatables, face painting, a kiddie train, an Easter animal petting zoo, and a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt! We want the entire community to come out to this fun and free event, so make sure you invite your friends and family!

Finally, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ THIS Sunday, April 16th, at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Easter is a great time to invite folks in your life to the church and I certainly hope you will do so. We will have incredible music, a great message, and may just a few surprises to make it the highlight of your Easter Weekend. I cannot wait to see you there!
