Every single week I get more and more excited to see what God is up to here at Vaughn Forest Church! You have no idea how much fun it is to be your pastor and see God working in and through so many of you. For example, did you know that so far we have collected 308 Compassion Kits to help share the gospel with men in the Middle East? That is so incredible! I love getting to be a part of this church and I am so grateful for each of you. One of the things that I am most excited about is our Saturate Prayer Initiative that we have coming up. Over the next 4 months, we will have opportunities for you to join us on either one
One of the things that I am most excited about is our Saturate Prayer Initiative that we have coming up. Over the next 4 months, we will have opportunities for you to join us on either one Wednesday or one Saturday a month for a brief time of training here at the church and then we will prayer walk 10 specific neighborhoods here in the River Region. Our goal is to pray and ask God to work in ours and our neighbor’s lives and connect those who are far from God to Him. Trust me, you will love being a part of Saturate!
This week we will continue our “My Crazy Family” message series. If you have children, ever want children, or know any children at all, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE HERE! We are inviting two family counselors to join us for an interview time during the weekend message and I know that you will learn a lot and enjoy it as well. So make sure you are here at 9:30 or 11:00 AM this Sunday…and bring a friend!
Finally, Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we are excited again this year to offer free family photos for all of our moms! We have professional photographers, great backdrops, props to make it fun, and tons more to make sure that you have great family photos to remember the day. Again, join us on Mother’s Day, next Sunday May 14th, for free family photos here in the Forest!Again, it is such a joy to be your pastor.
