Can you believe that it is already April? It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas! It’s crazy how fast the year is going by. The good news, however, is that with the warmer weather that means that Easter is right around the corner! Easter Sunday is less than two weeks away and I am PUMPED about all that Vaughn Forest is doing to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Resurrection Run

We will start things off with our Resurrection Run on Saturday, April 15th, at 8:00 AMwhich consists of a 5K and 1 Mile fun run. This will be a great opportunity to get out and exercise for a good cause. The course will go through Deer Creek neighborhood and has tons of prizes and extras to go along with it. Spring in the Forest Party

Then, at 10:00 AM, we will begin our Spring in the Forest Party complete with inflatables, face painting, an Easter animal petting zoo, and a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt! We want the entire community to come out to this fun and free event, so make sure you invite your friends and family!

Easter Sunday

Finally, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 16th, at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Easter is a great time to invite folks in your life to the church and I certainly hope you will do so. We will have incredible music, a great message, and may just a few surprises to make it the highlight of your Easter Weekend. I cannot wait to see you there!
