Can you believe that this Sunday is Christmas Day? It seems like the Christmas Season just started the other day and now we are almost to the end of it. My hope and prayers are that during this season you have taken or will take the time to really stop and reflect on the incredible gift of Jesus that we received and remember at this time of year and celebrate all that God has done through that gift. He is the reason we can have peace, comfort, and joy!

Please make sure that you have marked your calendars to join us for one of our Christmas services either this Friday, December 23rd, at 6:00 PM or Saturday, December 24th, at 4:00 PM! We are so excited to celebrate Christmas with you. We have some incredible things planned for those gatherings including music, communion, and a message, and I know it will be the highlight of your Christmas Season.

Remember that we will not have Sunday morning services this Sunday, December 25th. We want to make sure to give our volunteers and staff the opportunity to spend Christmas morning at home with their families, but we will be joining together across the River Region with our “Home For Christmas” video! You can watch “Home For Christmas” on a free DVD that you can pick up here at VFC this Friday or Saturday at our Christmas gatherings or you can view the content here.

Also, please make a note that Sunday, January 1st, is New Years Day! We will host one service on that Sunday at 11:00 AM. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the New Year here in the Forest!
