Day 15

I am The Holy Spirit, The Gift of God

If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, “Give Me a drink,”

you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.

John 4:10

I am the Holy Spirit, the Gift of God. I am the One who gave eternal life to you at salvation. I am called the Gift because salvation is a gift (See Ephesians 2:8, 9). You cannot work for anything that I give; you must receive the gifts freely from Me. When you let Me, the Holy Spirit, control your life, you have peace . . . wisdom . . . understanding . . . courage . . . and a sound mind.

Your Prayer

Holy Spirit, I receive You into my life. I receive the gifts

You offer to me. Come into my life to empower the gifts You’ve

given me. Show me how to use the abilities I have.

I, the Holy Spirit, am called the Gift of God. I will give you spiritual gifts, or abilities, for your Christian service. I give the spiritual gifts of evangelism, teaching, exhorting, managing, serving, and mercy showing. I also give you the enabling talents of faith and wisdom in order for you to be effective. Every good gift comes from the Father (See James 1:17) and is delivered to believers by Me (See 1 Corinthians 12:11). Do you know what your dominant spiritual gift is? Do you know how to use it? Ask Me, the Holy Spirit, to reveal your spiritual gifts to you, and then ask Me to help you use them in ministry.

Your Response

Holy Spirit, I ask You to show me my spiritual gifts. Show me how to use

them properly. Give me power to use them. Amen.
