Walking through Colossians 1:15–23, we discover who Jesus really is—God fully revealed, the Creator and Sustainer of everything, the Lord of the new creation, and the One who reconciles all things to God. But this passage doesn’t just give us a clearer picture of Jesus; it also shows us who we are because of Him. We were once alienated from God, but through Christ we have been reconciled, restored, and brought into a relationship with Him. Now, we’re called to remain faithful and continue living with Jesus at the center. When our view of Jesus becomes clearer, our view of everything else begins to change. The more we see Jesus for who He truly is, the more we understand who we are in Him. At the end of the day, it’s all about Jesus—only about Jesus, and always about Jesus.
