The goal of our preschool ministry is to provide loving care and nurture in a safe and secure environment. Age-appropriate activities are provided that will introduce preschoolers to God and lay a foundation for positive faith development. This enables parents to participate fully in church programs assured of their preschooler’s well-being.

  • KidzForest Jr.: Groups are provided on Sunday morning for preschoolers ages birth through kindergarten. Our preschool Bible study groups are staffed with trained volunteers who will share the love of Jesus through meeting needs and building relationships with your preschooler. Our groups lay a strong foundation for preschoolers through age-appropriate learning activities and Bible study. Classes are located on the 1st floor of the Preschool and Children’s hallways.
  • Preschool Midweek: We will kick off Preschool Midweek on Wednesday, August 14th with a Back to School Party at 6:00 PM. Our regular Wednesday night schedule will return August 21st. On Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, we provide missions education, Bible-centered learning activities, recreation, and preschool music for your child. This is also a great time for Mom and Dad to get plugged into a life group.
  • Vacation Bible School: Vaughn Forest Church seeks to use this annual event as an outreach event to train boys and girls in understanding God’s love for them through Bible Study, Music, Missions, Crafts and Recreation. Pre-registration is provided online prior to this event each year.
  • Parent/Child Dedication: Parents are offered the opportunity to dedicate themselves to raising their child in a Christ-centered home during our weekly gatherings several times a year. We offer a child dedication class the week prior that we ask all parents to attend before participating in the ceremony. For more information, contact Jaime Mauney at [email protected].

Please note that all volunteers that serve in our Preschool Ministry undergo a background check to ensure that your child is safe and cared for.
