What does it actually mean to put Jesus first—not just as a weekly routine or a moral checklist, but as your life’s supreme pursuit? In this episode of the Other Six podcast, we dive into Colossians 3:1–4 to explore why our spiritual growth is directly linked to the desires of our hearts. We look at the crucial shift from identity to behavior, what it means that Jesus is currently seated in authority at the right hand of God, and how to redirect our minds toward things above when finite world offerings leave us feeling dry and unsatisfied. Whether you’re experiencing a season of spiritual dryness, wrestling with distraction, or longing to deepen your genuine affection for Christ, this conversation offers a grounded, grace-filled look at moving from a life that merely includes Jesus to a life that truly revolves around Him.
We all love the encouragement we get from church on Sundays, but what about the other six days of the week? We have just the podcast for you! Join our pastors from Vaughn Forest Church as we dive further into our Sunday message series and discuss life outside the four walls of the church building the other six days of the week.
