This time of fasting has been helpful for me to 1) take inventory and thank Jesus for what he has done in my life and the life of VFC and 2) look forward to the next season ahead of us.

Even though it still feels like an oven outside, there have been a few reminders that Fall is coming at the Beaver house.  Every so often I notice a breeze that is a bit cooler.  I see pumpkins showing up at the stores.  But, the biggest reminder is happening this week with both my kiddos starting school!  I am looking forward to the season of Fall ahead, but not only am I looking forward to Fall. I look forward to the next season God has for our church family.

I look forward to Life Groups kicking back up!  I look forward to a Lead Pastor coming.  I look forward to how God will use this next season in your life and mine.

Eph 4:22-24 “22 that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.”

My hope as we look forward to Fall is that we will continue to 1) lay aside the old self,  2) be renewed in the spirit of our minds and 3) put on the new self.
