Vaughn Forest Church is looking forward to serving our local Montgomery and Pike Road Community through Love Week!
Starting Tuesday, July 30 and going through Tuesday, August 6, we will be serving our local community including schools, individuals, and others in need through yard work, maintenance, painting, cleaning up, and more. We have opportunities for all skill levels…expert, novice, and even opportunities for your whole family so we encourage you to get your kids involved.
Opportunities include:
Tuesday, July 30 – Pike Road Elementary, 7:30 – 11:00am
- Put down straw (gloves, rakes)
- Replace Ceiling tiles
Wednesday, July 31, Pike Road Intermediate, 7:30 – 11:00am
- Put down straw (gloves, rakes)
- Paint three rooms (supplies supplied, unless you have a favorite)
Wednesday, July 31, Halcyon Elementary, 7:30 – 11:00am
- Paint office
- Pressure wash (pressure washers)
- Help organize
Thursday, August 1, Pike Road High School 7:30 – 11:00am
- Put down straw (gloves, rakes)
- Trim bushes & trees (hedger, lopper, trimmer)
- Paint entrance (provided)
- Move classrooms (furniture dolly)
Saturday, August 3, Pike Road Elementary, 7:30 – 11:00am
- Mulch playground (tractors, wheel barrows, blowers, rakes, strong backs, lots of water)
We will also be providing breakfast the following week to the school staff.
